Gas Meter Pulse Outputs Device
For Dresser/Roots rotary gas meters, RotaRead devices from RIO Tronics adapt to both B series and LMMA series meters, whether TC, temperature compensated, or non -TC.
For B series, installs on a meter cover that is without an instrument drive, and can provide an optional conduit fitting for the Form A, digital pulse cable output. 2/rev magnetics install on the drive gear in the accessory of the meter.
For LMMA, the devices are retrofittable under the index cover, and provide the same digital output. For Series Z, the RegistRead line of products from RIO Tronics installs on the index. Options include dual outputs, custom wire lengths, power saving electronics.
Output: Form A, Digital dry contact; optional “PS4” FET transistor output for power saving
Resolution: B3 series: 1 or 2 pulse/rev; LMMA Series: 2 or 10 pulse/rev
Maximum Pulse Rate: Based on meter speed: shortest rate: .75 seconds/puulse on 11M TC
Duty Cycle: 50% on, 50% off, ± 6%
Temperature: Operational from -40° to +240°F
Options for All Products: dual, separate outputs; FET type electronics; custom wire lead lengths; wire tamper sense; B3 conduit fitting
