For Diaphragm Gas Meters and Electromechanical Electric Meters
For diaphragm gas meters and electromechanical electric meters, RegistRead provides the most options for AMI and submetering. Digital Form A output devices fit on the drive dial or reading dials of meters. They are protected under the index cover, and can be supplied pre-installed on meter indexes for ease of installation and reliability.
Options include 1, 2, 0r 10/revolution resolutions, dual outputs, power saving electronics, and custom wire lengths. Safe for hazardous environments, they are approved by Canadian, New York, and California authorities.
Output: Form A, Digital dry contact; optional “PS4” FET transistor output for power saving
Resolution: 1, 2, or 10 pulses/rev of drive dial or reading dial.
Maximum Pulse Rate: Based on meter speed; approx 3 seconds/pulse shortest output with 2/rev on drive dial
Duty Cycle: 60% on, 40% off, ± 6%
Temperature: Operational from -40° to +240°F
Options for All Products: dual, separate outputs; FET type electronics; custom wire lead lengths; wire tamper sense

RegistRead: “DK” Type Device
Pre-installed on meter index-replace meter index register with RIOTronics’-”DK” type index, exit wire through cover with hole drilled 7/32” for provided grommet. Test output with multimeter at 100 ohms resistance on, infinite ohms off.
